My Lord,
With reference to the Duke of Buckinghams despatch No 44, of 7th July 1868, I have the honor to inform Your LordshipthatManuscript image that I have this day drawn two Bills for the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds (£150) each on Her Majesty's Paymaster General to reimburse this Government for payments made on account of Imperial Pensioners resident in British Columbia up to the 30th June last, and to place the Colonial Treasury in funds to meet future disbursements.
