My Lord,
I have the honor to report the arrival in Esquimalt Harbour, on the 8th Instant, of the American Frigate "Pensacola," bearing the Flag of Rear AdmiralThomasManuscript image Thomas Turner. The Admiral called on me the day after his arrival, and he left Esquimalt yesterday to visit the Ports on Puget Sound.
2. I understood from Admiral Turner that the "Pensacola" would return here for a few days previous to her departure for San Francisco.
