I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 59 of the 1st April and to convey to you Her Majesty's Gracious confirmation and allowance of the Ordinance of your Government No. 23 of 1869 entitled "An Ordinance respecting the property of Religious Institutions in the Colony of British Columbia."
I do not quiteunderstandManuscript image understand however the 11th Section of that Ordinance. I presume it is intended to cover some irregular proceedings which took place under a Bill which never became Law. But I do not see why such a Bill should require repeal.
