I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of Govr. Seymour's Despatch No. 70 of the 13th April and to convey to you Her Majesty's gracious confirmation and allowance of the Ordinance of your Government No. 22 of 1869 entitled "An Ordinance to facilitate the working of mineral lands." I transmit to you foryourManuscript image your information a copy of a Report upon that Ordinance by the Emigration Commissioners to whom it was referred.
My Despatch No. 56 of the 15th June will have informed you that on the 14th Instant I notified to you by Telegraph, Her Majesty's confirmation of the Ordinance.
