I sent on the 6th Instant at 4 o'Clock a Telegraphic
Despatch to you in the following words:
You may draw at ten days sight on Paymaster General for allowance of
£800 advising this Office of the Bill.

The Message was addressed to you at Newfoundland and was in reply
to your Despatch No. 50 of the 21st Ultimo requesting the issue to you of
the usual Passage Allowance grantable to Officers proceeding to British
Columbia to Administer the Government of that Colony.
