I transmit to you, for your information copies of a correspondence which has passed between Mr. W. Fisher who states that he is a delegate on behalf of the MunicipalCouncilManuscript image Council of New Westminster enclosed in Governor Seymour's Despatch No. 127 of the 30th of November last, praying for compensation for losses sustained by them in consequence of the removal of the seat of Government in British Columbia from New Westminster to Victoria.
