Gibbons to Colonial Office

Sir,
Will you kindly give me some information with regard to British Columbia? Is the Colony in a good state morally? Is the climate healthy? Are governesses required? Would a lady 34 years of age, long accustomedManuscript image to teaching find a situation in a family as governess, and be likely to receive a good Salary? An early reply would oblige.
Yours respectfully
E. Gibbons
