Sir,
I have the honor to inform you that the Accountant General of the Navy has preferred a claim against your Government for Stores supplied in March 1867 to the British Columbia Government Steamer "Sir James Douglas."

The amount of this claim is 18s/9d as you will observe from the annexed statement, and I have to request you to enquire and to report to me whether it is correct.
