Sir,
I informed you in my Despatch No. 21 of the 7th Instant that Her Majesty had appointed Mr. Crease to be Puisne Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
To the Office of Attorney General vacant by the promotion of Mr. Crease I have appointed Mr. G.PhillippoManuscript image Phillippo, Queen's Advocate of Sierra Leone.
I transmit to you for your information and with reference to my Despatch No. 6 of the 22nd January a Copy of the letter which has been addressed to Mr. Phillippo respecting the Salary and emoluments of his new Office.
A Warrant for his appointment will shortly be forwarded to you.
