I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 94 of the 28th July reporting the terms of Union agreed upon between the delegates of B.C. and the Government of the Dominion of Canada.
I had before receivedconfidentiallyManuscript image confidentially from Sir John Young the Report of the Committee of the Privy Council of Canada and had informed him in reply that I was much gratified to learn that the negotiations had such satisfactory progress.
