Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 29
of the 22ndof
of March and in reply I have to convey to you my authority
to relinquish the Government of British Columbia so soon as by the
appointment of a Lieutenant Governor from Canada you are relieved from
your present duties.

Paymaster General for the sum of £800 as your Allowance for return
