I have received your Despatch No. 31 dated the 27th March last, reporting to me the provisional Appointment of Mr. H.B. Good to be Clerk in the place of Mr. Theakstone, who has resigned.
I confirm thisappointmentManuscript image appointment, but Mr. Good should be informed that it will give him no claim to compensation for loss of Office in the event of his Appointment being abolished on the Union of British Columbia with the Dominion of Canada.
