I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 50 dated the 20th April last, enclosing a Copy of Resolutions passed at a Public Meeting at Yale against the Civil list Act.
I have in reply to refer you to my Despatch No. 44 oftheManuscript image the 15th May and I have to request you to inform Mr. McQuarrie of the answer already returned to Mr. Robertson.
