I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 60 of the 17 May last enclosing certain Resolutions against the Civil List Act, passed at meetings at Lillooet, Lytton, Bonaparte House, and Hat Creek House.
I have in reply only to refer you to my Despatch No. 44 of the 15 May and to request you to cause the substance of that Despatch to be communicated to the memorialists.
