My Lord Duke,
I beg to acknowledge the receipt of a circular from your Grace, dated 16th July 1853, intended to draw my attention to a passage in the Printed Colonial Regulations, which appears open to misconstruction, and I beg to inform your Grace that I have filed the same among the public records of this Colony.
