I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt on the 9th of Instant, of your Despatch No 11 of the 15th of May last, approving of the measures adopted for the protection of the Settlements in this Colony and also of the Circular Despatches of the dates noted in the margin,

I have the honor of forwarding herewith a duplicate of my Despatch No 21, of the 6th of Instant,
Received and kept separate.
