I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 21, of the 13th of December last, informing that a Box, containing an official seal for the Supreme Court of Vancouver's Island, with a hand press, and also a seal for the Custom's Department of the IslandhadManuscript image had been forwarded through the Admiralty, and that the cost of these articles amounts to eleven pounds, sixteen shillings ( 11.16.0), and directing me to remit that sum to the Chief Clerk of your office.
I now, therefore, herewith, transmit an order for the sum of eleven pounds sixteen shillings, on the Secretary of the Hudson's Bay Company, under cover to the Chief Clerk of your office in payment of that account.
We shall give particular attention to the written directions as to the manner of using the Seal of the Supreme Court.
