I am directed by the Governor and Committee of the Hudson's Bay Company to acknowledge the receipt of Mr Merivale's letter of the 14th Instant with the accompanying copy of a letter from Mr Adam Gordon in reference to the price of land in Vancouver's Island, and I am to state in reply that the requisite information will be duly furnished to that Gentleman.
