Despatch from London.
Labouchere acknowledges the receipt of Douglas’s despatch enclosing correspondence with the Governor of Washington Territory “on the subject of the outrages committed on the Citizens of the United States by
the Native Indian Tribes” and he approves Douglas’s “proceedings on this occasion.”

I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No 30 of the
13th of October enclosing copies of a correspondence with the Governor
of Washington Territory on the subject of the outrages committed on the
Citizens of the United States by the Native Indian Tribes, and I have to
approve your proceedings on this occasion.
