With reference to your letter of the 
10th March 1859, relative to
               the payment of the pension of the man named in the margin
               
               
               
               
               in 
Vancouver's Island, I am directed by 
Mr Secretary Herbert to
               inform you that 
Michael Kelcher has returned to this country and made
               application for his pension to be paid to him at Liverpool, and I am
               therefore to request that the Secretary of State for the Colonies
               will be pleased to give instructions to the Governor of the Colony to
               report the date to which this man's pension has been issued from the
               Colonial Treasury.
