I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of to Sir Frederic Rogers' letter of the 20th instant, enclosing a Copy of a Despatch addressed by Your Grace to the Governor of Vancouver's Island on the subject of the completion of the Title Deeds of the "Church Reserve" at Victoria and the conveyance thereof to Trustees for the benefit of the Church of England; and I have to state that in compliance with your Grace's suggestion instructions will be given to the Agents of the Hudson'sBayManuscript image Bay Company in Vancouvers Island as will enable them with the concurrence of Governor Douglas to adopt the course with respect to the completion of the Title Deeds which Your Grace has pointed out.
