The files includes four documents. The first is a letter from
Wright to
Newcastle, which forwards to
the Queen an “address of the Bishop and Clergy of the diocese of
British Columbia;” the next two are the addresses, one a is copy, of sympathy to
the Queen; the fourth is a draft reply from
Newcastle to
Douglas, which acknowledges receipt of
Douglas's despatch and enclosed address, and asks to convey to “the authour” that it has
been laid before
the Queen.
