I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your despatch No. 24 of the 16th of April last relative to the appropriation of the portion of land at Victoria known as the Church Reserve.
For the reasons stated by you I have to signify my approval of the arrangement you propose, and in which it appears from your despatch that both the Bishop of Columbia and the Revd. Mr. Cridge concur, that the portion of the ground designated as the Glebe should be conveyedManuscript image to Trustees for the benefit of the Church of England subject to the charges specified by you.
