I have the honour to thank Your Grace for the Statement forwarded to me in your Despatch No: 24 of the 11th June exhibiting the account between the Agents General for Crown Colonies andManuscript image the Government of Vancouver Island.
2. I have duly noted Your Grace's remarks as to the extent to which Bills may be drawn upon the Agents General for the Balance of the Loan, and I beg to assure Your Grace that I will take care the sums drawn are within the amount held to the creditManuscript image of the Colony.
