In returning the enclosed copy of an Act passed by the Legislature of Vancouvers Island to amend the Scale of fees charged for the Entrance and clearance of Vessels &c I am directed by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to request that you will inform the Duke of Newcastle that My Lords see no objection to the Act.
