As the only remaining Commissioner for the N.W. American Colonies I beg to ask of your Grace the favour of an order to the Agents for Crown Colonies directing them to take charge of certain small packages placed in my care for Vancouver & British Columbia.
The packages consist of books of Awards, Illustrated Catalogues, Medals & similar articles for the Executive Committees at Victoria and N. Westminster.
I haveManuscript image no public funds out of which to defray the cost of transmission and I therefore venture to hope that you will sanction that expense being charged by the agents to the two Governments.
