Sir,
I have received and have had under my consideration 4 Acts (Nos. 65-70-76 & 77) passed by the Legislature of Vancouver Island in the months of Sept. to Decr/62 & Feby. last, and transmitted to me in your Despatches noted in the Margin.
Nos 60—30 Decr/7—4 March
I have reported to Her Majesty in Council my opinion that the said Acts should be left to their operation; and I have the honour to transmit to you herewith an Order of Her Majesty in Council, dated the 11th Instant approving that Report.
