I have the honor to forward herewith an Account with Vouchers, of Receipts and Disbursements of Imperial Funds in connection with the Island of San Juan &ca between the 1st January and 31st December 1863.

2. It will be seen that at the close of the Account there is a Balance due the Colony of £2115.4.8. I have therefore authorized the Treasurer to draw upon Her Majesty's Paymaster General, in the usual manner, for the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred pounds (£2,500), and I have to request that you will be pleased to cause the Bills upon this account to be duly accepteduponManuscript image upon presentation.
