I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to transmit herewith for the information of Mr Secretary Cardwell a letter dated the 19th Octr last No 31 from Rear Admiral the Honble Joseph Denman reporting the proceedings of the Ships under his orders in the Neighbourhood of Vancouvers Island and the result of the expedition to Bute Inlet.
