I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch No. 10 of the 14th of March, enclosing, among other Acts, an Act entitled An Act to grant the right to construct a Telegraph Line connecting Victoria with the Telegraph System oftheManuscript image the United States and for other purposes.
On the subject of this Act I have only to refer you to my Despatch to Governor Seymour of the 1st of June last (copy of which was forwarded to you by the Mail of that day) as conveying the views of Her Majesty's Government.
