Sir,
I have the honor to inform you that I have with the concurrence of my Executive Council granted leave of absence for twelve months commencing on the 1st August 1865 to Mr Edward Graham Alston, Registrar General of Titles in this Colony on thegroundManuscript image ground of urgent private affairs arising out of the recent death of his wife.
I enclose the usual certificate relative to this leave of absence.
