In reply to your Despatch No 38, 11th August 1865 requesting me to make inquiries respecting Mr Charles Orriss Haining the son of Mrs Jarman, I have the honor to inform you that Mr Haining is now residing at Victoria, Vancouver Island, having returned fromCaribooManuscript image Cariboo, British Columbia, about three weeks ago and intends returning there shortly.
