Sir,
The account of this Government with the Imperial Government in respect of the Troops stationed at San Juan being now over paid to the extent of Six Hundred Pounds Sterling (£600), I have the honor to acquaint you that I have this day drawn a Bill at 30 days sight upon Her Majesty's PaymasterGeneralManuscript image General for the sum of Fifteen Hundred Pounds (£1,500), in order to repay the advance and to be in funds to meet future demands upon the same account and I beg that the necessary instructions may issue for the said Bill being accepted and paid at maturity.
The usual detailed accounts with vouchers will be transmitted by the next Mail.
