Sir,
With reference to your Despatch No. 108 of the 22nd of December
I have the honor to transmit to you copies of a correspondence on the
subject of the Bill for One thousand Pounds (£1000) which you have
drawn on account of the Vancouver Island Road and HarborLoan
Loan, and I
have to request that you will take the necessary steps to remit to the
Crown Agents the balance due to them. In case you should have drawn
any further Bills you will remit a sufficient sum to cover the amount
of such bills also.
