Sir,
I have the honor to transmit the copy of a Resolution adopted by the
Legislative Assembly of Vancouver Island on the subject of reciprocal
commercial intercourse between the United States and the British
North American Colonies.
I have already brought thissubject subject under your notice and stated my
opinion of its great importance to the trade and progress of these
Colonies.
