I have the honor to enclose the copy of a Memorial from the Legislative Assembly of Vancouver Island forwarded to me for transmission.
The evil complained of is one of the evils springing from aseparateManuscript image separate policy and supposed separate interests existing between these Colonies.
I am of opinion that the measure thus brought under your consideration has a prejudical effect upon both Colonies and does not benefit either.
