In reply to your letter of 24th Instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay the Bill for £1500 drawn by direction of the Acting Governor of Vancouver Island, for the service of the Colony.
