I am a late resident of Victoria, Vancouver's Island, and am
engaged in writing an account of that Colony.
May I ask whether you could furnish me with a statement of the
total annual
exports from Vancouver's Island, and British Columbia,
expecially those of gold, for the lastfew

would be of great assistance to me, and, could you supply it, I
should feel myself really obliged.
