Sir,
With reference to your Despatch No. 64 of the 21st August, I have the honor to acquaint you that I have instructed the Crown Agents to pay to the credit of Naval Services the sum of £33.9.0, being the amount due to theOfficersManuscript image Officers of Her Majesty's Ship "Scout" for the entertainment of yourself and Mr. Philip Hankin from the 9th to the 20th August. The charge of a passage made on the service of the Colony should be defrayed from any Colonial fund under the control of the Governor.
I have to request therefore that you will make a remittance of the above mentioned amount to the Crown Agents.
