Fraser Canyon
Fraser Canyon’s sheer and jagged walls loom along either side of the Fraser River for roughly 80 km, from Yale to Lytton, with its approximate midpoint at Boston Bar.1
During the Fraser River gold rush of the late 1850s, the Canyon was home to a number of bars—sluicing sites for gold prospectors and miners.
