Hall, Thomas
Described as a white settler in this document, Hall was involved in a legal conflict with Tenasman, chief of the Soke Tribe, who claimed Hall had cheated him in an unfair rifle sale. Douglas ultimately ruled on the side of Hall, but the case made him reconsider the admittance of Indigenous testimony in certain legal situations.
