I beg to acquaint you that, in compliance with the request contained in your letter of the 30th Ultimo, Ultimo, Merivale to Admiralty, 30 September 1858, re Briseis. FIND ShipsBriseissailing orders the necessary orders have been issued for the "Briseis"—as soon as all her stores are on board—to proceed to Gravesend, there to embark the men, &c, she is to convey to Vancouver's Island.
