transmitting a copy of a correspondence between the Governor of
<placeName ref="plc:vancouver_island">Vancouver's Island</placeName> and the Captains of Her Majesty's Ships "<name ref="vsl:satellite" type="vessel">Satellite</name>"
and "<name ref="vsl:plumper" type="vessel">Plumper</name>"; and also of a despatch from the former, in which he
announces that he has authorized a temporary addition to the pay of the
crews of those ships out of the territorial revenue of the Colony.
