I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you that the Paymaster General has been authorized to pay to Messrs Cox & on behalf of Col: Moody the sum of £100 on account of the passage of Mrs Moody to British Columbia, as requested in Lord Carnarvon's letter of the 28th ulto. Ulto. = letter of 28th ulto A draft of this letter appears in Moody to Under-Secretary of State, 25 October 1858, 10944, CO 60/3, p. 341.
