I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to state for the information of Secretary Sir E. Bulwer Lytton that a Despatch has been received from Rear Admiral Baynes, dated the 20 Octr, No 133, reporting his arrival in Esquimalt Harbour on board Her Majesty's Ship Ganges on the 18th Octr, and his having placed himself in communication with the Governor of Vancouver's Island for the purpose of co-operating with HisHis Excellency agreeably to their Lordships commands.
