I am directed by Secretary Major General Peel to refer to a Letter addressed to you by this Department on 2nd March last, reporting a Claim for £12,143.4.0 on Account of Stores &c supplied for Service of Royal Engineers proceeding to British Columbia; and to request that you will cause the above Amount to be transferred in the Books of the Paymaster General to the Credit of this Department.
