I transmit, for your information, an Extract from a letter dated 27th of November last from Rear Admiral Sir M. Seymour reporting the sailing of H.M.S. "Tribune" from Hong Kong for Van Couver's Island with seven Officers and one hundred and Sixty Non-Commissioned Officers and Privates of the Royal Marines.
