I have now the honor to transmit herewith a statement of the grounds upon which this Company claim the lands and buildings in their occupation in British Columbia; and for the purpose of the matter being brought under the consideration of the Judicial Committee, I shall be happy to put our Solicitor in communication with the Law Officers of the Crown as soon as your Grace has had an opportunity of considering the the statement now sent, and whether it can be arranged that a joint statement can be agreed upon or that each party shall furnish its own.
