<placeName ref="plc:british_columbia">British Columbia</placeName> come home to bring out my family—on the expectation that we may get a Governor for that fine Colony besides the present one whose rule is ruining and keeping it back<pb facs="co_60_12/co_60_12_00269v.jpg"/> as your Grace will learn in full from any of the respectable gentlemen
whose names I give on the other page <ref target="#marg1">*</ref> who came home from there the other day and are well qualified to give
your Grace all information.
