Being desirous of obtaining a copy of the existing regulations
for the disposal of Crown land in the colony of <placeName ref="plc:british_columbia">British Columbia</placeName>,
and being only able to obtain those enacted by Proclamations dated<pb facs="co_60_14/co_60_14_00499v.jpg"/>
<date when="1860-01">January 1860</date>, and <date when="1861-01">January 1861</date>, some of which I am reliably
informed have been repealed and reenacted, with alterations, I
take the liberty of stating that I should feel obliged if you
would favour me<pb facs="co_60_14/co_60_14_00500r.jpg"/> with a copy, or abstract, of the regulations at
present in force, or if you would inform me where I can obtain the
same.
